Mary Morgan, widow and Mary Roberts, single, in the parish of  Little Newcastle on 24 August 1766 did beat, bruise and wound a new born male child of Mary Roberts and cast the child with force and violence upon the ground and thereby gave the said child upon the right side of the head one mortal wound half an inch broad and one inch deep and it died (WALES 4/817/4).  Guilty verdict on 24 April.  No reprieves traced.
